Automation Engineer

Place of Work:  Lampertswalde, Germany

 

Main tasks and areas of:

  • Optimization of processes at existing production facilities in the field of electrical engineering and MSR technology
  • Troubleshooting and elimination of faults in networks and bus systems
  • Carrying out maintenance work on control, measurement and control technology
  • Programming of Siemens controls and HMI applications
  • Troubleshooting in control programs and optimization of the drive technology
  • Communication and cooperation with external service providers

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed training as a technician, specializing in electrical or automation technology or comparable, alternatively training as an electronics technician
  • Professional experience and knowledge of automation technology
  • Electrotechnical qualification
  • Knowledge of SIMATIC control technology
  • Knowledge of Lenze programming/parameterization and SEW would be an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of HMI applications desirable
  • Understanding of complex relationships and organizational skills
  • Willingness to substitute shifts
  • Good knowledge of German
